damn a i hungry now..
if only i was in camp, i don't need to eat SFI food, but eat the Pilot's food.
how is a packet of chicken rice, with dishes like steam chicken, roast chicken, sambal kangkong,baby kailan, oyster omelette, fried tofu, sweet and sour fish, hei zhou and last but not least a suckling pig sounds like for lunch?
its the only good thing bout being posted to a fighter squadron.

Had a pretty active day today.
Spent the whole day doing rock-climbing at West Coast Recreation Center with the FS.... got a Level 1 Rock-Climbing certificate.
Then we went to Pizza de France..... Blue Cheese Pizza..... mmm.....
Then after I reached home, I went for a nice long jog.

a tibetian friend of a friend says the situation there is very bad now ... can forget about permission for foreigners to go there at the moment ....

Ah yes..... I heard that shots were fired at the protestors.
Once a commie, always a commie.... they may proclaim democracy and declare prosperity for their teeming masses, but in the end it's all about money and power for the select few and trampling over the rights of others who wish to live free.
By the way..... I find it pretty interesting that many communist nations like to use the word 'democratic' in their official names..... like East Germany (German Democratic Republic) and North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea).

they are no longer communists ..... they have always been capitalists at heart .... you know the russians used to call the chinese commies tapiocas .... cos they are red on the outside but white inside .... hahahahahahahaha
neways I heard from chinese friends that the current president Hu got his start suppressing dissent in tibet .... there were stories of him leading the front spraying live bullets from a submachine gun into rioting crowds .....
and that it's only recently, thanks to the internet and what not, that such incidents are made public ... and that it's always been a pretty regular thingy over there ...

was quite pissed on friday nite when i heard of the news of the riots at the capital. then i see footages of monks kicking and damaging things...violent with civiians.. i dun believe my eyes.
arent they be promoting peace, love, harmony, respect and self-displine.. how to attain nirava....how to go paradise?
suddenly, although I gonna missed tibet (the place only), but no longer interested in some ways (the people). it is so wrong..
we have to forgo our transit flight to Lhasa (arrgghh..the monks make me lost $250 transit flight marney) and decides divert to Sichuan Mountains (like shangri-la) and Yunnan Scenic Nature Reserves. Peace and tranquility....and SAFE.!

you have no idea, that corusemate of mine, has a mp3 version of it. or some recordings.. he even asked me whether i wanted it.. and complains that the new edition of the announcements are not as nice as before..

no worries, during one of our sports session, i have already tested my speed against his as well as stamina.
but i'm afraid that a train might come chasing after me.
he repeats announcement everyday, his favourites are "next stop Yishun" as well as that "terrorist bomb threat" announcement.

Just booked my IPPT for this year..... will be going this Thursday at Bedok camp.
Good news is that since I'm still studying, I'm exempted from RT if I were to fail.... which I always have since ORD.....
Bad news is that since this is my graduation year, this will be the last time that I can pull that off.....
Oh well.... back to work.
