Small contact = unpredictable.
Big contact = Better siam.
Somemore most big contacts actually go faster than the small contacts. They average 10-25knots. At that speed, nothing stops them.
On coming out of Tuas the other day, a long prolonged ship-horn blast forced us to atcually REVERSE as this 300m long container vessel barreled towards us at 15-20knots.
Me never knew what almost hit us bcos I was on the other side of the ship. Seeing the never-ending ship appear to my side almost gave me a heart-attack. It passed our bow with only 0.2 miles to spare. Heng the officer decided to reverse. If we try to chiong like Courageous that time is bao si one.

Nope. The ship has been cannibalised for parts and what's left at my base is just the shell.The missing section is covered with a canvass. The damage at that part is simply too horrible and vivid for many to see.

i can understand why they ban women, but why bananas? anything to do with the myth of tree spirits on banana trees?

only type of boats i've been on are motor bum boats to ubin, sampans, and long tail boats and the tourisy ones in halong bay.

just came back from TCC in bugis. had no idea about the image overhaul with chandeliers etc etc. the decor looked pretty out of place for a coffee joint.
