  grrr.. false alarm at the office.. just one page sent to us out of 64

  gars will chomp on anything that moves and seems like food..

  star tortoises have a very sweet and gentle disposition.. unfortunately, they're now endangered.. else they make great low-maintenance pets.. just let them potter around on the lawn, provide them a cool shady area, water and some food, they're pretty happy

  yeah.. if you see people selling, get the police on them..

  they're endangered and protected under CITES...

  i wonder if we can get other types of tortoises as pets.. those which are not endangered.. the land tortoises are gentler and nicer than turtles like the maniac turtle pinkybear likes: the Alligator Snapping Turtle

  Bleh but the Alligator Snapping Turtle looks like a mini dinosaur!!!!!!!

  And it's interesting how they catch fish by using their tongue as bait!!!!

  uhh.. dinosaur as in those very bad-tempered angry ones.. their bite is strong enough to cleanly chomp off a man's finger

  I've been getting lots of Blue Screens of Death on my Toshiba laptop.... something like 4-5 times over the past week.

  Heck, I just got one just now when I was booting it up..... apparently, some driver is stuck in an 'infinite loop'..... whatever that means.

  I'm thinking that my laptop is on its deathbed right now. It's already four years old, and the warranty lasts only three years.

  I just want it to keep going until my final oral defence in May - after which, the very first thing I'll get with my first paycheck will be a spanking new laptop.

  And no, it won't be a Toshiba.

  it was 8:12am..

  i'm eating my breakfast..

  it's not even office hours yet..

  the accursed boss walks in and asks me to look at this and that and go look at this and that...

  and my chye tau kueh is still sitting there...

  she tells me to go get something and walks off..

  i mutter "ahhh... eat breakfast first"

  immediately after, she has the audacity to then tell me to eat the breakfast first before it gets cold

  and when i'm eating, she kept badgering me..

  before i finish (and i eat damned fast) she has badgered me THREE separate times!

  and it's now only 8:26am!!

  Morale of the story for the day : Never eat any of your meals in front of bosses who love to nag.
