  so.. as more people come into the world, a world increasingly stretched and way beyond sustainable, and with insane idiots out there clearing forests to plant crop for biofuels (causing even more havoc to the climate) i would think that food prices will keep going up...

  there is only so much the planet can produce.. we've probably hit the limit years ago..

  but with classical economics, the planet is "infinitely able to produce"

  we're doomed

  they were so concerned with quantity of life they totally ignored the quality of life...

  which is what is happening now... the people are sacrificed for the economy... the economy is not a tool for the people anymore but it has become the goal..

  all countries (except maybe Bhutan and Vanuatu) are guilty of it..
