*drags out all the thick and furry winter clothes and winter linen...Changed my bedspread today too! I got this set :

Perfect for Winter too! I got it at a hefty discount too! Think it was at a 50% discount, so for just about AUD100, I got the quilt cover, two pillowcases, two large cushion cases, and one small cushion + cushion cover!
Thinking of returning to the shop to get the little springroll bolster + cover! Sorry, don't really know the proper name for that little sausage. -

You can get really cheap and beautiful bedspread sets here if you wait for sales. I got all of my sets during sales, and all of them are very pretty, except one set, which I dislike, but had to get at that time, because a good friend from Singapore was coming over to stay.
It's a ghastly and horrid shade of pink. Yucks! Too bad when she was coming over, there weren't much sales going on and that was the only set on sale.

I now have three bedspread sets for the bed, and one that's perpetually in use for the couch (because my couch comes in a horrendous yucky green and what-not patchy kinda design, yucks yucks yucks so it has to be in a nice doona (quilt) cover!!).
That's not counting the bedsheets, pillow cases, etc etc that's in addition to these sets.
I think I have enough stuff to dress up three beds. And that's not even counting the six or more bedsheet sets I have back home in SG!
But those are the typical cutie / flower types for single beds that I probably will only bother to ship over only when I have my own house. -

Don't even have room for them all! Had to mail some back to Mum even. I so love the look or a well made bed. With matchy-matchy curtains. I just went out and bought some drapery fabric this morning 30% off, couldn't resist. My bedroom is a work in progress. But what I hate are too many pillows on the bed. Two is enough.

No leh! Two is not enough leh!
Two European Cushions to fluff up and arrange so you can recline in bed, one small pillow / cushion to support the arm that's holding the book / mag.
Bedtime, when you need to sleep, remove the extra pillows and place them by the side or foot of the bed.
Feels very cozy that way!
