well, today there's this piece of news about some serial "heart stealer" .. some wanker who video-tapped the women he conned into bed, and then black mail after ...
apparently, one of the victims was turned away by FOUR police stations before she sought help from the MCA and finally managed to make a report ...

hey.. i've actually seen a receipt for RM20.. by the police there... Singaporean robbery victim had to pay them to make a police report!
i didn't know what that was (it was in Bahasa) so i asked my Malay colleague.. he looked at it, shocked.. and then translated for me..
