anyway, watching Bourdain a while ago.. he was in Singapore... his parting words.. moved me... he said:
What will my golden years look like? If I'm lucky, it'll be like this: surrounded by good food, some other old duffers with similar old taste for cold refreshment, fatty pork and spicy condiments. If I'm lucky, I'll be living in a place that looks upon food as a vital part of the culture. If I'm lucky, no matter what condition I'm in, I'll still be able to come here and enjoy a place where eating is an action to be savoured. If I'm lucky, I won't be too far from Singapore.
sometimes, underneath that cynical mask he puts up, he shows his soft spot... and that little look in his soft spot, is what makes his series a joy to watch

3 weeks?I dunno... then why ask ppl to apply exit permit for exiting S'pore for more than 3 mths?

yar, 22 days notice.. hmm knn, i received mine aorund this time last year but it was for an enlistment 5 months later.
