looking forward to the weekend but i got to work on sunday

First impression counts and that's sad.
A fellow NSF who's quieter than me and my buddy took an extra today because he made wrong announcements one too many. He should be the first case the IC enforced the rule that 3 or more "Disregard my last pipe." and you take one.
And it's simply because he didn't like him. Although I would say the more you get to know the NSF, the better you see him.

i normally mark NSFs who take too many MCs or taiji alot and sabo the shift.

I'm no better, I was screwed by my XO over the walkie a couple of months earlier for screwing up an announcement.
Going over the PA, I blew the bosun call and made a general pipe, then I said: Close all upper (missed out the "deck") doors and hatches due to foul weather.i
The walkie went: QM, XO.
Me: QM.
Walkie: This is not you grandfather's ship!
Me (embarrassed): Roger that.

Only the LSTs practice the wakie pipe in harbour. And the pipe-down. I don't know how to do a pipe-down, it's really advance.

i'll be getting a new MacBook soon..
the PC is dead.. only thing is.. i have to let my dad be convinced that it is dead in his own time..
once that happens, i'm moving my iMac to replace his PC, and get a MacBook
