Anyway, I really don't know what to say about those who fall for seemingly obvious scams in spite of all the publicity and public education over them.
I often visit www.419eater.com to read about online 419 scams.... pretty interesting stuff, what some of these scambaiters do to fight back.
Anyway, when in doubt, one forummite in the MLM forum once gave a good rule of thumb: 'If it looks like fish, smells like fish, and tastes like fish, chances are that it ain't chicken.'

I dun know wat's going on now...
1st said they've enough rice (tat one I know cos of 2/3 quota rule)... but wat came out later over rice just makes me to turn off
Hell, I have big problems with companies that sell dubious products like biomagnetic bracelets and 'alkaline water' to gullible customers.
The claims that such companies make are ridiculous.... if biomagnetic bracelets can affect blood circulation, then MRI patients should instantly die of a stroke when the machine is turned on.
And 'alkaline water' used to 'lower the pH of blood' to 'purify it of accumulated toxins' is ridiculous. One friend of mine who was in an MLM tried to sell that product to me.
I told her point blank: 'If I drink this sh*t, and it works as it says, then I will die of liver failure'.

I gonna burn my this weekend + Vesak day just to prep the last frigate to sail.
And my paycheck certainly does not justify why I have to sail on 2 ships.
Actually the oil price goes up, the US dollar drops at e same time

something is really screwed with our public healthcare
Screwed up? Wait until you come to Australia where you can wait up to 11 months for an operation to be scheduled in the public system! ![]()
I thought Singapore's system was bad... until I came here. There have been cases where people died waiting for the ambulance to get their act together and arrive! I think in one publicised case, it wasn't a case of minutes, but more than an hour!
And in another highly-publicised case, the ambulance system failed a paramedic who worked for them.
Public healthcare systems around the world are usually overstretched and sadly, response cannot be quicker simply because of cost and resource issues. It's a matter of which countries are worse off, instead of which country is the 'best' because the 'best' still falls short of public expectations.
