Dang.... now the Sri Bistari Ayam Penyet is $3.80.... it was $3.50 not too long ago.
Oh well.... the sambal is just as nice as before. ![]()

Food prices are rising... sigh....
I'd rather that the stallholders raise prices slightly and maintain QC than maintain prices but reduce QC.
the beef noodles i usually eat there, stayed at $3 for hell of a long time but portions got smaller..
then they raised it to $4 and the portions returned...
i'll still patronise that stall.. i've had their stuff since they were a back alley hawker..

I learnt that the hard way when I got food poisoning at another cousin's wedding a few months ago.
My mom (and quite a few other relatives) got it too.
