I am sleepy too... *yawnzzz again....*
Hubby and I met up with bear and zoragirl for lunch yesterday. Went to have bear's favourite souvlaki. I think he's disappointed that the other souvlaki spot that he used to gois no longer there.
Hope their flight to Sydney tomorrow is not canceled due to the industrial action by Qantas staffs.

anyway now CASE wanna publicise hawker's cooked food prices... i think trying to against open market policy, micromange how much ppl selling their cooked food...
their survey for one, is very vague...
They say housebrand items cheap.. not always
I can get 1 box of tar ma/ firestarters at $1.20 per box... NTUC one housebrand somemore selling at $1.40 per box... dunno how much is the profit margin I think 50% also have
Hawker food how to survey
Rent in different areas are so different
I hardly buy housebrands
But I know Fairprice housebrand items quality confirm very good
French Fries for one
And their flavoured frozen hotdogs are very good too
Oh the other thing can buy is the liquid to wash fruits and vegetables

tat's why.. say 1 plate of chicken rice $1.30, another place $3.50... they say they can't understand
I think they dun even know cost factors...
As for housebrand I dunno, but I think is how much the supermarket chain is willing to go for... cos there are items whereby profit margin is very high yet they can still sell it slightly cheaper...
Tat liq to wash veg? Thought all along only have 1 brand?
Anyway, the veg at SS as in those normal cai xin, etc... They're better packed than NTUC's one lor. somemore look nicer ![]()

Wa... more and more housebrand... but one supplier kaki told me, tat's why these days many items they dare not ask for price increase if it's marginally cos of e threat to stop selling and they go for housebrand
tat Meiji big box biscuit NTUC still selling at $6.20 when even Meiji themselves are alrdy selling for $6.70 per box!
