Phew.... just bought a whole lotta stuff.
I'm organizing a BBQ for my Sec 4 class tomorrow. I felt that we hadn't seen each other in a long time. The last reunion was two years ago.
I didn't really tell them that it was also a way to celebrate my birthday, though. I just told them that it was just for the sake of a reunion.
Just seeing them again will be a gift in itself.
Oops... you were one step ahead of me!

Sigh... I really miss The Coffee Connoisseur! It was one of my favourite hangouts because their beverages, food and desserts were original and awesome! It's really 5-star standard!

First day I stayed in by choice, because I was tired and also because there were gale-force winds outside.
Second day I went to get my Learner's Permit. Then I stepped out to see policemen and firemen at an accident scene where a car had turned turtle.
I hope it's not a bad omen!! Spent the rest of the day in the city, and saw firemen again on another two separate occasions.
I love firemen!! Today, I went to Victoria Gardens mall to get some stationery for my studies, and then I had dinner with honeymousey at a lovely Japanese ramen restaurant afterwhich we proceeded to have Gelati.
Tomorrow, I'm meeting friends for an Italian dinner in Lygon Street. Whoopee!!!

What's the bloody hurry, mate? I've got 10 bloody years to learn driving before the permit expires!
I think right after my course ends, sometime by September or so, I shall contact this driving instructor that comes highly recommended by my colleague.

It would be nice if drivers exercised a modicum of responsibility whilst enjoying that freedom.I was driving to the P&R this morning and doing the speed limit on this particularly winding and hilly stretch of single-lane road, while a woman with a cellphone glued to one ear was tailgating me less than a carlength behind. I tapped on brake several times to flash the brake lights, but she didn't get the message. I was so hoping we'd pass a cop who'd see what was happening and pull her over for tailgating, but alas, cops are never around when you need one.
