I kena foot rot in Brunei. Everyone who has been through it knows that it rains every day there. You are never dry when you're there.
After my return, I changed my socks regularly, powdered my feet, aired out my feet, soaked them in warm KMnO4 solution..... it got better, but it never fully recovered so long as I was going to outfield on a regular basis. Generally things got better when I wasn't outfield, and worse when I was.
It was only after ORD that my feet finally fully recovered.
