Having an express service from JE like 179A would slash travelling times for a lot of people by quite a margin, but can the interchange cope with the traffic? There's one private transport company (Tong Tar) that does that in the mornings and evenings for about $2.
you've not seen how big is Jurong East Int... LOL
still so empty

sometimes I can understand why people do not move in. when its really crowded its damned near impossible to exit the bus and the fucking drivers always want to drive off quickly even. sometimes if suay I quite literally have to force my way out by elbowing people out of the way.

They sound so deprived, poor darlings!
I don't think I can live in a place that doesn't have bookstores with an extensive selection and good Asian food. ![]()
I wanted to add in CD shops with an extensive range until I realised that I AM living in such a place right now!
I cannot find a single CD from the record label "Pacific Moon" over here. Hell, I can't even find Janet Seidel, the Jazz / Lounge Sydney singer's CD's here!
It's in abundance in Singapore and on Amazon.com but I guess the only jazz singer that's popular right now is Michael Bublé. ![]()

I think all over the world, in any big city, it's the same old problem. The minute you have a big city that doesn't have that problem, migrants will then flock there and ensure that they will soon have to deal with that issue too. ![]()

Yeah... I was chatting with a few Aussie colleagues and I was grumbling about how limited the selection of CD's here were and they said, "Well, what else are you looking for? What's missing?"
So I went, "Ambient, Lounge, Ibiza, Fusion Jazz..."
And they all went, "Huh? What's that?!"

Their taste of music is extremely limited
And they are also very close-minded to anything new
Pinky, I'm setting aside a few hundred bucks so when I return home, I'm heading to the CD shops and mindlessly buying the CD's that aren't available here. ![]()
By now, I'm a sua ku when it comes to new releases and all... ![]()

Well the challenge is to be able to do that with a higher human traffic volume, or service that volume in relative comfort...or at least try. ![]()
