Dang.... I can't believe that I've spent $25 over the past few days on public transport. And that really wasn't a lot of buses and trains that I took.
I really miss the days of tertiary concession fares. For the whole of this month at least, I'll have to pay full adult fares.

Aye caramba! I just checked!
Only undergrads are eligible for the tertiary concession card! ![]()
@#&^&$*@$............... ![]()
So it's all adult fares from now on! ![]()

you can start cursing the annual public transport fare hikes with us from now on ![]()
especially when the commuting experience actually gets worse, not better, with each hike ![]()

Die lah like this.....
I need two connecting buses (Marine Parade => Eunos and Clementi => Kent Ridge) and one long MRT ride (Eunos => Clementi) to school each day. Long and expensive trip.
In short.... I take a total of four bus trips and two MRT rides on a normal school day. And I haven't even considered things like weekly tuition (which is all the way at Lakeside), weekend outings, and so on.
As an undergrad, regardless of how many buses or trains I took, my total transport expenses were capped at $97/month thanks to tertiary concession.
Now... it's gonna balloon. ![]()

just spoke to another director.
he does distribution of hair care products to salons. one man show at the moment and will need folks to do sales and expand the business.
i wanted to cycle too.
just waiting for cash to go buy that pink bicycle with that lovely fake straw basket infront.
and later to add in a gas powered engine.
And so, with my ineligibility for student concession.....
The last vestiges of my youth have truly gone down the drain.
