I am feeling better. For the most part of it, I feel very free. And the stress, pressure, the weight on my shoulders, gone.

So much for all the talk about whether the CPL Dave sentence was fair or what.
Few of them probably realise we're talking a about a MILITARY organisation here and a potentially spectacular shooting case.
Sure, the sentence is harsh, but rules are rules and the poor fellow definitely knew what to expect.
I won't post this at SAF forum because the people there crapping are kids who are barely out of puberty.

Nine years is kinda light in my opinion.
The fact is that he stole a weapon, stole some live rounds, and was thinking of using it to threaten his ex to get back with him.
He may have had a lot of hard knocks in life, but so have many others. And you don't see all of them going around stealing weapons to threaten others.
Since he was demented enough to think that he could make someone love him at gunpoint, then it's not a stretch to imagine him actually pulling the trigger.
