It's SMRT again. They say go green, their one and only new bus after 7 yrs is green cos it's Euro V... but problem is, for going green, the electronic board displaying bus service number is too small to be seen in comfort...
might as well dun install, lagi go green
But they hype it up as if it were a mass overhaul, which a good portion of their fleet badly needs! Are there plans to bring in more?

WHEN Victoria's public transport users finally get the long-awaited myki smartcard, it will come with a condition — if it doesn't work, it's your fault.
A fare manual for the long-overdue $850 million ticketing system, obtained by the Opposition under freedom-of-information laws, says myki tickets that do not work will be assumed to have been damaged by the users, and not defective.
"Where there is doubt about whether a ticket is damaged or defective, it will be taken to be damaged," the manual states.
Tickets judged to be damaged will cost $9.80 to replace, it states.
"Public Transport Minister Lynne Kosky wants to blame passengers for myki's problems," Opposition transport spokesman Terry Mulder said.
"Minister Kosky will place the onus on public transport users to prove it was not their fault that a ticket could not be used — despite her recent public exhibition as to how the myki equipment can fail," Mr Mulder said.
Ms Kosky last month visited the offices of Kamco, the consortium building the myki system. While there, she gave up on trying load a $20 note into a ticketing machine after the note was rejected three times. (Kamco staff later pointed out this was due to human error.) ie. blame the Minister!!! Harharharhar!!!
The current Metcard fare manual does not place the onus of proof on passengers but demands $9.80 for a replacement ticket if a ticket is deemed to be damaged.
Acting Public Transport Minister Bob Cameron said nothing would change under myki, despite the manual obtained by the Opposition.
AND, this Myki system is exactly like our Transitlink card system, except that it has taken donkey YEARS and MILLIONS of dollars to develop and it's STILL not ready to roll out yet! Harharharharharhar!!!

Complete with fishballs, fishcake, egg, taugeh, and tau pok! It also came with two mussels which I unceremoniously threw away cause they looked... dodgy!

I think another 65 of them would be delivered tis yearFor SBS, the 500 single decks ordered would more or less be completed by tis year as in assembly (since SBS does in house assembly of buses)
I think I've noticed even SMRT Trains arent even washed at all...

I love marigold's new mangosteen juice too!! I've gone through a few cartons and there are 3 in my office fridge as we speak.

Without proper maintenance, even the Euro V buses will not run as efficiently as they should.
