  Just to clear the air.... this whole 'four witnesses' rule applies to adultery and NOT rape.

   

  For the record.....

  See how much the stupid bigots have hijacked Islam by taking a rule used to prevent wanton accusations of adultery into a law used to subjugate rape victims. There is no requirement that four witnesses are needed, so long as there is enough evidence to convict the rapist (e.g. video surveillance, forensic evidence, etc).

  Heck, even in cases of adultery, I remember reading that so long as you have enough evidence to accuse a person of adultery, you may simply present the evidence and take a solemn oath.

  But of course, with absolute imbeciles like the PAS who insist on this 'four witnesses' thing..... well, things are damn screwed up up north.
