Think that's because of Singapore's high humidity. It doesn't happen over here.
Also, crackers and biscuits don't go soft so easily. Even if they do, just leave them on the grill for a short while and voila, crispy again!

I throw out fish fillets when I've kept them in the freezer for a year.
Three years is a loooooooong time! If it was pre-cooked stuff, it's not so bad, but I wouldn't recommend that anyone cooks frozen meat that's been in the freezer for that long!

Raw food keeps well in the deep freezer for a min of 5 yrs
It might be a bit dry after a long time but it's still good

That place stinks.And wa lao.....you should see when the lunch bell goes. You'll see ants (predominantly black) marching out of nowhere going to the canteen. Got at least thousands of sweaty bodies.
At night, the place is more vibrant than St James and more colourful. And there's the perpetual cloud-cover hanging over the place.
And when you have 50 over yard-workers clambering up and down in the ship, and you have to track their movements at all times, it can drive you nuts. Several times I had to wield the stun baton to get them to line-up.....kao!

Cos as long as my ship stays there, as long as I'm not on duty, I report at 9 and leave before 3 each day. Despite vehemently saying no, saying I have um liver failure and I am driving (a bicycle), I still had to drink at least 5 cups of beer before they let me off. Not that I hate beer, but I dislike gulping it and drinking too quickly.
Well, the dinner went violent as usual and a bowl was, as I recalled, flung to another table and the unfortunate fellas at the table got some beer and soup on their laps as a result.

But my XO is aware that someone is abound this forum. He even managed to get the nick, but by sheer coincidence it got banned immediately.
Seriously I detest going out with these fellas. Counting down my days left with them.

But if there's one thing, I can detest many things about how things are done, how fucked-up the people get as long as there's drinks, I still take pride in my badge, and the ship I serve.
I might poke fun at the unit, but I wouldn't dream of dishonouring it.
