I escape to
1. the beach
2. the bars
pick one and try ....
If you could find a bar on a beach, you'd be in seventh heaven...

The prizes look pretty enticing. Go for it, dude!

Seems that way, doesn't it?I've long subscribed to the notion that tech support people are just there to infuriate you, the user, into solving the problem yourself. At that point, it's usually more expedient to just jump on the net, fire up your favorite seach engine, and find the answer to your problem yourself.
if only it was that easy ....
my pain is caused by a remote secure server I have no shell access to ... which is hosting an app which my app must attempt to communicate with .......
and it's so blardy infuriating when the chap on the other end of the line blurts out "ermmm .... I'm sorry, i don't know anything about that" when you ask some questions about regarding the HTTP protocol concerning the server .....
you wonder if they actually got an IT trained person to do the job ..... ![]()

just that for the price of one beer I can have two elsewhere ...
Heading out for dinner now. Will probably jump back online later tonight.

problem is the HP guys - they got this appointment book thingy; and the appointment for my PC is tomorrow. in the meantime, i continue using a kaput PC. nothing much my guys can do except continue to scream at HP which basically equates to achieving nothing since they got the "appointment book".
sigh...life.

ke ke ke
might as well call it a day rather than scream at the PC [i don't actually swear or scream aloud; just the thought of it!]
ciao!

yes he's extremely sweet... when he doesn't think he's a cat and keep licking his paws....
won't want me to give bubble to spca either... cos he being 7 yrs old will be put to slp... but being his age, it's hard to find a foster family...
say he'll foster bubble temp if need be... but how temp? i won't be able to buy my own place for 1-2yrs and i really worry abt his mum's reaction...
