  tennis, just hit the ball with the racquet.. observe the strokes of people like Pete Sampras or Roger Federer.. they have the perfect strokes in tennis...

  then.. imitate...

  too bad i could not imitate their serves.. could only imitate their topspin forehand and topspin backhand...

  once you figure out the topspin part, hit the ball as hard as you can...

  in other news, you can also go to SAFRA, the Sewer Serpent Club or the HomeTeamNS places for lessons too..

  I also didn't take up lessons..

  Just go play every week, then slowly you'll get the hang of it.. I don't know how to do a proper serve btw..

  but doesn't matter, coz I'm not playing professionally anyway..

  If not, maybe can ask the tennis place at kallang..

  Or see if anyone knows private coaches..
