  Reading on e book on e green car war. Seems they're looking at diesel, hybird and electric car for the future

  1/6 of the corn in the US is turned into Biofuel.. it's the law there..

  I don't believe that biofuel is hurting food supplies at the current levels of usage, as some people claim. Brazil says its bio-ethanol production isn't affecting the supply of sugar cane for other purposes.

  Anyway, research is being conducted on the production of biofuel using the wastes from food crops. Hopefully they'll do the same with Vegemite.

  thing about what they are saying is that "technology will solve.. blah blah"

  yeah.. but no one is making the move to use the bloody technology.. they'd continue using the corn in the US to make biofuel.. because it's easy, the government pays them to do it with subsidies, and it's profitable... to the detriment of the US taxpayer...

  then there are those in SE Asia who are clearing the primary forests to plant oil palms... killing the biodiversity and putting a monoculture in its place...
