LOL
I used to think taking cab was a good alternative to driving.
but with increasing cab fares, much longer waiting time for a cab, and more cab drivers who are just plain psychotic, its no longer the case.

I look at my uncle working hours and my cousin working hours I go -_-
At least for my job when it is off-peak (as in not planting or harvest) I'm relatively relaxed :x
I have a friend who works at Barclays.
She has to keep UK banking hours.
In other words, on a normal day she works throughout the night and sleeps during the day.
talking about cab drivers who are psychotic, it's not only their driving..
my colleague was cracking the shits the other day about a maniac bible thumper cabbie who kept going on and on about her going to hell ![]()
i told her to go report him since she has the receipt

my couz works in credit suisse and she's doing the London times too. it wasn't as bad when she did the aussie times - get in a bit early but she could leave by 3 pm. still daylight and can run errands, do things etc

it builds up. everyday i throw in about $1++ and at the end of 3 months...
Guys, if your credit card offers you an increase in your credit limit, would you accept? ![]()
mine didn't offer.. they just stated it has increased..
since i never go anywhere near the limit, i don't care

I should give my piggy bank a name!
She's so heavy she can't be budged liao! ![]()

Mine wants to increase it by a few thousand, but they have to ask me to tick "Yes" or to specify a smaller credit limit increase.
BTW, what criteria do banks use to offer credit limit increases? ![]()

I have jars lying around full of change that I throw in everyday.
I think there's enough to buy a D700 in those jars, if I can be bothered to sit down and count properly ![]()
Ah! I think I shall name my Piggy Bank "Voracious Tessie"! ![]()

no clue but so long as you can pay the bills on time, won't matter much to you. only downside if when you wanna get a loan etc, the bank will do a credit check and they lump your credit limt as part of all your loans/borrowings eventhough you have never used close to the credit limit.

Aaaah! So we have just solved the mystery of the missing Singapore coins! The poor mint has to keep minting coins for circulation because of blokes like us! ![]()

I'm not even close to the limit, neither do I intend to ever touch the limit!
Do they count your full credit limit when considering your loan application?!
I thought they'd only consider your current debt and liabilities, if any!
Hmm... I think I shall just sit on the matter. If I don't respond, my credit limit shall remain unchanged. Better that way.
mine went from $9000 to $12600...
and i have no idea why.. i never gave them my payslip or whatever.. since the day i applied for the card...
i think herein lies why banks lose a crapload in credit card bad debt...
btw.. 1/2 year of miscellaneous coins in my tin = $575 and some change..
before that, the haul was $400..
i think i can get my MacBook and also some other things when i throw in the $10 a day i've been putting away ![]()
They just want ppl to spend

Well, I still get a Corporate Gold Card even though I've left that company ... what... in 1999?!
Whenever I get a new card, I laugh and then toss it aside. ![]()
I think after I clear a few outstanding bills, I will force myself to save at least $1.5K a month.
