I did block time for a trip end of year. Its a toss-up between taiwan and japan at this point in time.

Sh*t.... my old running shoes are really falling apart. The soles are slowly peeling away.
I'm going for a 21km test run tomorrow.... honestly I'm not even sure whether it can survive tomorrow's run, much less the AHM.

last year i had to come back to work during my leave because she promised a pile of people i would be around to do it.. THEN she told me about it..

I told mine that I would not go on long leave for the whole year because of all the forecasted shit until december. BUT, if I get screwed out of my end year break, I'm throwing letter. -

you taking the whole month off? actually the throwing in the letter does work! i took one month off last year to "think about whether i still wanted to come back to work or do something else" -
mine has forecasted shit all year around..
when i took the leave to go to Melbourne, the other guy suffered.. badly.. and is still suffering..
i mean, what the hell kind of boss tells people to go postpone his leave which he took to bring his pregnant wife to go for a ante-natal checkup?
told the boss i'm going to watch the F1GP.. and told her the dates.. and she then promised people that i'd be around to supervise everything on the very date (and it's a saturday) itself!

you might as well get another pair though there's not much time to break it in/get comfortable with it before the run -

I've got just..... $100 to survive on for the rest of this month. My graduate stipend was supposed to have come 'in early August', but now because of so-called administrative issues, I have to wait till 'early September'.
I'm already gonna have to beg my older sis to lend me some money just to get me through this month. No way can I buy another pair of running shoes.
I can't even use my SAF eMart credits. I used the last of it to buy the new set of SAF New Balance shoes..... which was eventually stolen by the REMF.

i think my boss is barking mad..she keeps telling us to do this and this and that.. but she cannot catch up with the amount of work she throws at us..
she's now "replying" the emails i sent out to her last week with "thanks" and whatever bullshit.. and imagine her paranoia when even insipid emails like that have a "return receipt" on it... i've seen her inbox.. 3/4 of the shit is return receipts...
