We have just created a "path" for it to cross to my neighbour's roof.... have a suspicion that that's a baby possum and afraid to jump....

That is the route the possum takes every night.... from our roof to the neighbour's roof and then don't know where..... we just tried to create a short cut for it...

Warning! Monday morning rant ahead:
So the express bus this morning was crowded as usual. I got to the park-and-ride a bit late and ended up having to stand in the aisle on the bus. A middle-aged woman had boarded a little ahead of me and was standing near the back when a man immediately offered to give up his seat to her, but she declined, saying that she would "take him up on his offer en route if she felt the need."During the 30-minute ride into town, the same man asked the lady a couple of times if she wanted a seat, and on both occasions she declined. Just before she alighted at her stop, the woman turned to the man who had previously offered his seat, thanked him for his thoughtfulness and then added in an intentionally loud voice: "It's a shame the other men on this bus aren't as considerate as you."
WTF, lady? The man had quickly offered you his seat back at the park-and-ride, and you had declined. Then on the ride you had declined another two offers for a seat. And now you're complaining that the male passengers aren't considerate enough? What the hell else do you expect us to do???
