  you're lucky you don't have my mad boss for a boss..

  imagine.. my section's project... vendor-made video... is finally done, the No.1 is bloody pleased with it and asked for a copy for him to show to a conference he's attending in Vienna...

  then my boss, who is at home on Hospitalisation Leave, keeps calling in demanding changes to be made...

  the No.1 has approved it, wants a copy, and the mad boss wants to change it!!

  Reminds me of a group term paper I did two years ago.

  As the team editor I had to put together six totally different mini-essays by six different people into a single long coherent paper.

  Some of my team-mates would keep b*tching over my editing and would constantly demand changes to the way the term paper flowed.

  I kept my temper in check.... until one day. It was Hari Raya that day, and I was out the whole day visiting relatives.

  When I reached at home in the evening, I was already very tired..... and once I logged onto MSN, one fella immediately messaged me 'Selamat Hari Raya!' - and proceeded to bash my newest editorial work.

  I totally lost my cool and sent a mass email to all my teammates.

  Suffice to say that it was incredibly harsh in tone and that I said something that could be summarised as, 'IF ANY OF YOU BUGGERS DON'T LIKE MY EDITING WORK, THEN DO IT YOURSELF AND BUGGER OFF.'

  i can't go torture the vendor... the No.1 has approved it..

  and if i change it, i get it from the senior management..

  if i don't change it, i'll get it from the lunatic boss..

  At least I'm still off tomorrow. At least my boss pretty much leaves us to run the deals ourselves, so long as it doesn't get him and us into trouble.
