but i don't think anyone will be able to afford it anytime soon..
it's got a bloody Medium Format sensor!! 41 bloody Megapixels!!

until now...i get a wide angle lens and a monopod and light cf tripod.....i am done. :)at least 4 years, i am not buying any more stuff...i hope..

if you want a rangefinder-like camera, the leica digilux 4 looks interesting. its the leica version of the panasonic lx3. it'll cost only slightly more than the DP1 I think

i have that with my couple of cameras, i'm happy enough

Hmm...... thinking of getting for myself an entry-level DSLR.
I need to take lotsa high-quality flow visualization pics anyway for my project.... if I have a camera of my own, then I won't have to fight with the other students for the limited cameras that my lab has.....
I was at Sim Lim just now.... seems that I can get a D40 kit for under $700, and a D60 kit for around $900.... hmm....
