Yeah, they'll be raising their pay to help themselves cope with the financial meltdown and the fall in value of their personal investments. If not cannot concentrate on their jobs and will become corrupt.

because despite these assholes, there is goodness in the world..
because despite living in garbage mounds, people still dare to hope for better and smile.. and work to better their lives...
because despite the fuckheads in power, we realise they're empty and hollow, and we have the ability to choose to be happy...
because despite all their efforts to grind us down, it doesn't matter because ultimately it's still between you and your creator... anyway

Seriously I'm getting fed up with many NSFs these days. The latest batch to arrive, now become NSF (non-sailing force) again! Wtf is wrong with them?? Now all the work goes to me and my buddy again!
Caught up with one of the base techs who service my guns today, he said a chao pte today complained to his sgt that he couldn't get best trainee now because get this! He didn't score well at live range because the AR-15 barrel was bent!

I also see people who have their lot in life, yet choose not to help others in need. People who ostracise others out of apathy. People who can't clean up after themselves in the gents or after meals in spite of their "class". People who deliberately besmirch or deceive others to get what they want faster. People who refuse to see the big picture when necessary steps have to be taken to protect the environment...and so on.
They're everywhere, not just in the echelons of power. We interact with them every day, not knowing if they possess two faces or if they'll ruin our lives. Our creator's voice has been muted in every single one of them, by their own choice. Yet we should be kind towards them; He died for them and for me...and I am just as liable to failure as they all are.
(Sorry for the religious bent here to those who might be offended)
