sometimes, i do wonder why can't we import more of the "tamer" varieties of foreign workers ... like the thais, the vietnamese, the burmese etc ....
they are not perfect for sure, but I think they cause a lot less social trouble than the other types ....
I mean, sure, the thais would get rowdy when they are drunk and what not, and sometimes they fight and kill each other or do drugs and what not, but by and large, they respect the fact that they are guests here and don't disturb the womenfolks and what not .....

We have a lot of Fillipinos lately
Our supermarkets are filled with them and 7-11 outlets

not just the viets eat dogs .... the thais from the north west provinces too ... dog is an isan specialty ...
the fillipinos have an overbearing exhubrance that I find exhausting ... they are the ultimate drama queens in south east asia .... I find that a bit overwhelming .... and of course, they all think they are better than us you know ...
