okay.. the secret to getting promoted and all that is this.. and it's something i can't for the life of me do...
if there is a huge pit in front of the senior management, i'd tell them, hey you idiots! pull your heads out of your arses and avoid that pit.. walk around it!
whereas those who get promoted are like: keep walking.. i'll go spend about a gazillion dollars and waste about a googleplex man-hours to come up with an anti-gravity field so you don't fall, and you won't have to pull your heads out of your comfortable arses..

black seems cooler.. however, with a brushed steel finish, you get to scrub the crap out of it without worrying that you'll scrub off the black coating...whereas you can get away with washing the black barbeque a little bit less coz you can't see the carbonised grease

Uh-huh and finger prints are hard to see on black....
The grill is made of cast iron so it should be better. This BBQ comes with a back burner too so we can do a spit roast/turkey in it. Cool!

Driving home from the park-and-ride this evening, I was unfortunately stuck behind a minivan that was going well under the speed limit. I could not overtake it as we were on a rather windy stretch of single-lane road. The minivan was weaving from side to side and came pretty close to mounting the kerb on a few occasions. My first thought was there was an intoxicated driver behind the wheel, but it was too early in the day for that. The road eventually widened into two lanes at the stop junction and I was able to pull up alongside the minivan to take a look at the driver.
The driver was a woman who was talking on her cellphone while applying lipgloss/lipstick with the aid of the mirror on the lowered sunvisor. I took a quick glance in the cabin behind her and saw two kids sitting in the back.
Where's a freaking' traffic cop when you need one????

a couple of days ago, a car was taking up 2 lanes, driving at about 50km/h on a 70km/h zone while the lane on the left was packed up with heavy vehicles...somehow passed it and saw this lady leaning so far forward her chin was ahead of the steering wheel...

Ha ha! She was either (a) straining to look at something over the hood, or (b) making the car more aerodynamic to save fuel.

i don't.. i figure that lady should not be driving as there was absolutely no situational awareness, no idea, and was being a road hazard to all other drivers...that being said, my dad is also a road hazard and i've yelled at him many times for totally not using signals when turning/changing lanes, joining traffic.. and generally driving like everyone should steer clear of him..

There are a lot of stupid drivers on the roads..
sometimes when i drive, i get so frustrated.. lucky i don't drive so often nowadays, otherwise my blood pressure sure goes up!

Those who can afford expensive cars probably have too much money so instead of using their own brain to think, they would pay someone to do that for them. The brain gets rusty after not using it for a while....
