  actually, thinking when i'm able to clean up my room, i get a small little cube tank.. about 1ft cube.. and get dwarf puffers

  But the thing is that I'm trying to consolidate everything into 1 tank la

  The only thing is I have a hospital tank which the Gulper is in now

  Oh it is very much better now and much more active this morning

  Also it's no longer a deathly shade of white or golden in colour (indicates dying fish) but a dark grey (I need it to get to black)

  His wounds are healing nicely and I think he got a stomach infection too which recovered after puking

  Really stressed looking after him

  And we had to guess what medication to give especially since fishes can't talk and we have to give medication according to what we think it have

  I treated it with Melafix for his external wounds and also this yellow powder for internal bacteria infection

  Also dumped in our fresh aloe vera to aid the wounds and improve his slime coat condition

  I also have to do 12 hour water change coz he seems to be discharging something extremely foul smelling

   

  Good thing is he is swimming around in the hospital tank today and not lying on his side or lying on his back  belly up (Btw catfishes are infamous for resting belly up scaring the hell out of their owners)

  go home lar. get some zzz and rest. and quit worrying about work and fishes - at least for now.

  I'm glad too

  The thing is that it is relatively new in the aquarium trade and little is known about them and most people do not know how to treat them

  Also I had to cut down the amount of medication use coz a Gulper Catfish is scaleless and usually scaleless fishes are very sensitive to medication

  I'm glad that he is better la >.< He's the cutest fish I have (Ok diff ppl have diff definations of cute)
