i think their media and politicians also got suckered into the mess..
they will only read what is reported to them.. unfortunately, it isn't really the full truth...
true that BKK is in a mess.. but that's political.. and the people know better than to shoot themselves in the foot if they go and escalate it into total mayhem... besides, Thai people are smarter than that...
but all this is cold comfort... the media there will read what they are told.. and the politicians will read anything put in front of them...

Gulper Update:
Much more stable and active. Only a little golden sheen. Was actually swimming around this morning instead of just resting on his back
Tried feeding it last night. Took the prawn but puked it out like 10 mins later. Did not want to eat this morning.
I think I'll try feeding it again on Thursday. That it even try attempting to eat is a good sign
I stopped the internal bacteria treatment yesterday but I continued again this morning just in case

Went to the doctor yesterday and the doctor said it was a post-viral cough and usually lasts 6 weeks. She asked me to drink lemon honey to soothe the throat. May be you should try that too.
What's your situation? Does your phlegm have any colour? Mine is clear so it shows no infection. You will need antibiotics for it if your phlegm has colour.

I've sucked down half a tube of dequadin so far, and it's helping a wee bit .....
drinking lots of hot water for now ....

try hot chinese tea.. not too strong.. it helps clear out the phlegm..
and if you have phlegm, never take sugary stuff, honey or citrus, they will cause even more phlegm..

You should go to the doctor then as you may need antibiotics for your case. Try the lemon honey drinks... I am drinking it now... quite soothing.
My doctor actually said hot lemon honey can be just as good as the cough mixture in the shop.

if your phlegm is clear, it means its a "cold" cough ..
Avoid all cooling stuff.. cold drinks..
