  yeah... it's a sad state of affairs..

  i'm still wondering.. 22 different companies were doing this...

  independently?

  if so, isn't it a sad indictment on the country and its industries as a whole?  what other things are hidden and not found out by the authorities?

  Is this a deliberate thing or accidental?  I didn't follow the news every day so I am not quite sure about it..

  it was deliberate..

  they diluted the milk and therefore protein levels fell.. to fool the protein level tests, they added melamine...

  it's insane, disgusting and i don't know what the hell they were thinking of..

  and that 22 different companies did it.. can't say that it is an isolated incident..

  a total lack of conscience and morality in the insane pursuit of profit...

  what is safe to eat nowadays  ?.....

  frankly, I think it's a sad thing that most of the stuff that goes into cans and packs nowadays have to be listed by their chemical formulaes .....

  sometimes i dunno... ever watch this programme or read this book entitled "The Corporation: The Pathological Pursuit of Profit and Power" ?

  corporations are likened to psychopaths.. and those who run it start to behave like a mob... where personal responsibility is diluted by the pack mentality...

  i've been looking for the book but have been unable to find it.. i've got the movie tho'..

  I think we eat more chemicals then food nowadays
