  i blame the doctors who tell you in the same sentence: you'll feel better in a week, i'll give you a day MC...

  and also those who give you a day's medical leave for influenza and then say on TV: you need to rest for at least a week when you are strickened with Influenza

  people then take the virus or infection to work with them and spread it to the rest of the unsuspecting workplace, causing the virus or bacteria to become more immune to medication because the microbes have already been hit with the antibiotics or antivirals from the original patient

   

  p.s. i dunno how people get extended medical leave.. i never got more than 2 days for illness except for things like chickenpox or wisdom tooth extraction..

  In the end the human race will be wiped out by some superbug  because most people will only take 1 day's worth of antibiotics because they only got a 1 day MC. That's if we don't first kill each other with nuclear bombs.

  tell you what.. go to the 7-11 (not our resident one) and get one of those non-contract ones... or the nearest Esso/Mobil with FoulPrice Express.. the latest one comes with some kind of pre-paid card.. and it has a vga camera too
