a fren that had fled from australia to Singapore and now in USA.
her son is nnow 8 years old, half angmo and so handsome and cute.
She fled with her child because she knew her bf is planning to retain that child in Aus, send her packing to sg and claim child support.
And apparently, this isnt his first attempt. His other daughter from a phillipino gal same thing. The phillipino gal goes back to Aus on regular basis on travel visa just to see her child. And she always time it with my g/f to go when the guy is out.

In May 2008, the Aussie immigration dept was processing applications from Dec 2007.
In July 2008, they were STILL processing applications from Dec 2007!
And this morning, I found out that THEY ARE STILL processing applications from Dec 2007!!!!!

I think last July or Sep, they raised the criteria and as a result, they received three times the usual no. of applications and that's why they now have a backlog.
Usually, nurses already working here would get the PR before six months, those who apply for the PR through the hospital will get theirs in three months. It's been 10 months for me now! *cusses and kicks the trash bins in the backyard!
