i know. Phuket Shooting Club, but they are so expensive because its meant for caucasians.i wanted a conceal carry on person and a shotgun for the house or car.

Wow. I thought the ticket would be more than that!I guess in the grand scheme of things, a $180 write-off isn't too hard to swallow in light of all the money you've already spent on camera gear.

air ticks now are cheap.
you just to consider that the airport taxes are $159/- and your thru and fro ticks are maybe $20/-

otherwise i don't mind pushing thailand aside for paid shoots because money comes first... in this case, i better earn my money back through my investments!!!
if i go to thailand, i need at least 1K.
so if i get last minute small shoots, i will surely get 1K.
i'm praying hard for a big one where i earn 3K and i dun worry about the money spent on the equipment AND i go to thailand

Doesn't that club offer a courtesy discount for members of the Law Enforcement fraternity?
Speaking of guns, I picked up another German police-surplus Walther P1 pistol in near-mint condition last Sunday. There's tons of them making their way into the used gun market here as the German police are in the process of obsoleting them, and they're selling for a song and a dance. I got mine for just $229.

I'm sure your waitress acquaintance won't mind waiting a little longer to receive your present to her.And, given the quality and creativity I've seen in the images you've occasionally posted here, I don't think you'll have any problems securing the $1K in photoshoot revenue needed to fund the trip to Thailand. But that's just my opinion.

actually the 3K from a shoot is coming AFTER december.

maybe i'm worrying too much because i threw all the money to equipments so i feel empty.

Need to mention. My teacher tells me to skip the intermediate thai language class and goes straight for Advance.
Not because I am smart. because I prefer learnng how to read and write thai and I could join the new advance class on Tuesday. They have already started but he thinks I can catch up.

Good luck finding one. From what I've read, only about 7000 of them were made by Walther in the late-70s and early-80s, and they are hard to come by in the used firearms market. -
