I am thankful I used a photograph in my passport that ages me to a 40 year old.
I dont have to change my passport as often.

Tried to go for a 7.5km jog just now.
At the 6km mark, my left knee flared up again, even though I wasn't exactly pounding the pavement.
Sigh.... I think my knee's busted.

Every time we go running / jogging, when our foot hits the ground, you're sending up to seven times your body weight up your legs, the impact of which is largely absorbed by the bones and esp the joints.
Guess why lower limb joint problems are so common amongst runners?

I finished a short 4.65 km (or so) jog. Take some glucosamine and include calcium supplements in your daily supplements.

A 70kg man goes jogging. With every step, his legs have to absorb 7 X 70 kg = 490 kgs of impact.
If he is 70kg because of a large %age of body fat and not because of his large bones, the bones in the lower limbs will be subject to more impact.

av is soooooo funny! I said I was heading off to the aquarium to buy a loach... or two. He warned against buying too many, I said of course, otherwise all lang gah (collide) inside my tiny aquarium and he said, "Otherwise, like Singapore!"
