am ok, which is worrying! i finished a pretty tough run yesterday (oh well, they should have just termed it hills run!) and strangely, i wasn't fatigued. couldn't nap after the race and this morning, even managed an hour of cardio.
i should be whacked...i should have crashed...i should be fatigued.
btw, how many days do you have off?

Strange... maybe the adrenaline is still coursing in you (although technically it shouldn't cause adrenaline wears out pretty fast)...
It's good to continue exercising the next day because that's the best way to get rid of lactic acid buildup in the muscles so you don't feel as sore.
I only talk nia... I should exercise myself. ![]()
Are you asking about my annual leave or how many days off in a week?

I though the runner's high should have worn off by now.
btw, I think SMRT is lying around increasing the number of trips on weekdays. This morning during peak hour the trains were coming like 4 to 5 minutes apart! I missed so many trains because there was no way to get in.
My Vietnamese neighbour really one kind... His grandchildren have been playing football along the one-way side street beside my block. Two weeks ago, I got pretty disturbed, thinking that 'someday', they are going to break a window, and I hope it won't be mine!
Well, guess what... yesterday afternoon, they did break my neighbour's window!
Idiots...
There are two parks, both only about 5-8 mins' casual walk away! ![]()

How frequent are they supposed to arrive?

peak hour supposed to be 1 minute apart.
I tell you something really idiotic... instead of increasing the frequency of trams into the city, they are thinking of eradicating ALL trams into Melbourne City and instead, have all the trams stop at St Kilda's and another 'terminal location' where all passengers will then have to switch to buses.
Whoever thought of this severely cocked-up idea should have his teeth punched out! Obviously, must be some academic who has never ever used the public transport system!
I mean, it doesn't take an idiot to know that this will cause even greater congestion!!
Oh they are freshwater puffers
Dwarf puffers are the only true freshwater puffers. The rest are either marine or brackish water
I would take pics if MPB remembered where he kept the camera charger!!!!
The camera battery is flat and I can't recharge it.
I should take a picture of my rose plant too. I just saw it bloom 2 different type of roses from the same plant!
Different shaped flowers and color too :O
you know there's this pill called FUKITOL????

One minute nia?!! They will truly be world-class if they can achieve that!
Here, for trams, I think it's 20 mins during peak hours. Off peak can be 30 mins.

The trams and trains are becoming extremely packed during peak hours. Commuters are becoming angrier.
I'm pretty happy with the trams, but I try to avoid trains unless absolutely necessary. The train stations are usually located in some godforsaken locations, smack in the middle of don't know whose backyards.
And travelling on the trains at night can make you an unfortunate crime target.
The news here recently highlighted the high level of crime on board Melbourne trains, esp the country Victoria lines.
My colleague told me there's a reason why she wears steel-capped boots because she needs it for defence when she takes the night train back to Geelong after her shifts.
She's told me before that the driver will announce to passengers NOT to board the carriages with the lights out and the red door lights on because they want to keep the passengers safe in the same few carriages... strength in numbers kinda thing. She said that in the carriages with the lights out, there will be the drug addicts, vandals, and drunks and what-not hanging out in the dark... it's like their jungle party!

I just need to work six 12-hour shifts every two weeks. Once a month, I'll have to work an extra 12-hr shift. So, technically, every two weeks, I get eight days off!

And the misfits know that the red door lights and light out areas for them?

Well, they somehow seem to gather together in those carriages.
It's actually not specifically meant for them but it's meant for the passengers to congregate in the same few designated carriages for safety's sake.
My colleague did mention that she's ever peered across the linkway into the dark carriages and she was stunned to see the 'mass destruction' and 'anarchy' in those carriages. ![]()

Yup... you've covered almost all grounds except vandalism and destruction of public property. ![]()
I've never seen a catfish as skittish as mine. Everytime I try to take a photo of it, it goes into some sorta crazy 'dance'! ![]()
My loach is camera shy too! It loves to hide under the bridge and elsewhere. ![]()
