If you want to fall out, at least fall out honourably. The American GIs in the Ardennes in WWII had a term for this: 'The Million-Dollar Wound'. That's a combat wound enough to get them permanently pulled off the line but yet not be too disabling.
If you fall out, other people have to pick up the slack and do your work for you. Before you fall out, at least make sure that you have a damn good reason for doing so, because other people are going to be burdened with your load.
So is malingering responsible behaviour? Don't sound like it to me.

anyway, the DVD problem is solved.. i just encoded it into a fricken high bitrate and quality HD version .wmv file... it's about 265MB..
i whacked it into a CD and will send them all out with instructions to copy it into the HDD and play it from there.. there will not be any problems from now on...

depends on what manner you geng. if you geng in things that will not burden others, then it's not irresponsible. I'll just highlight one relevant one on staying out.
If the person kengs to stay out, but truth is there is nothing to be done at nights in camp anyway. The personnel are just made to stay in. He rests himself well and reports back on time. faking excuses to stay out may be malingering, but irresponsible? I doubt.

dunno.. thing is, after duplication, we tested them before sending out.. they worked..maybe the &*%# doing despatch left the pile of stuff in the sun or on the engine block or something, causing disc failure.. the bloody company which got the tender is capable of doing such things.. from what i heard, they're the lowest quotation and the lazy bastards just went with that..
otherwise, we're stumped to why..

wrong I said "no obligation just because of the legal requirement". and not there is no obligation to any other consideration at all. The law is not that one and only consideration.
In other words, an example would be not caring if the law says that you can't kill others, but still not killing because you don't think it's right to do so.

And I know why they get into depression because they are seriously under a hell lot of stress and also dissapointments by people close to them.
The pressure is so great that they fall into depression because they have given their all and their very best but things still come crashing down.
