lunch time..log in to say "good afternoon everybody"..
aiya..think of the bright side..
say u earn $3500 per month, u work average 35hrx60min = 2100min per month.
u use 1/4min to insert the paper, 1/2min to type the number to fax, 1/4min to see it go thru,....1 min to stare at it so to make sure it gone thru...
u utilised 2 mins of working time = $1.70 x 2 mins = $3.40 (not bad leh, 1 lunch!)
if boss decides to talk further another 2 mins = $3.40 (Dinner !)

my boss(the japanese) will fax his own documents.
but the local managers just plain lazy to get their ass off the chair to fax the documents.
once a manager tries to fax a document, suddenly somebody says "Hello"...this manager looks at me (i was sitting next to both printer and fax machine
) and asks me how come got people talking one. She tried for 5 times and gave up....
I ask her to call the company for the correct fax number.
She insists the fax number is given to her by the company.
Guess what, she uses the number she calls to the company as fax number...![]()
Don't tell me this is an excuse for them not to fax their own document....
*faint*
i just had fish noodles for lunch...
friend was funny as heck.. after wolfing down kuey chap which included pig guts and stuff, he bought a pile of fruit and fruit juice saying "healthy eating" ![]()

won't the constant buzzing from the machine irritate you? i won't survive that kinda onslaught though i've learnt how to blank out voices and teleconversations since we have an open office concept (ala school canteen rows of tables and chairs).

i've asked about the scan and send.. but got no replies..
i think it's a matter of it being there and lots of people out there actually still use fax machines..

is it because of your shoes or wat that caused the blisters?

my office is semi open.. those outside got their cubicles .. only HOD got rooms ..
I'm also seated really close to 2 big photocopiers and a shredder .. but I'm used to the noise already.. I can block out the machine sounds ... but it helps that i have my radio on..
