I think the weathers too dry. And btw, I am feeling strange that I find umbrellas selling in OC California......I cant remember when it rained? Ok, will either have to buy and install a humidor or put more wet towels into the room to increase the humidity.

Head over to any of the "big box" stores (Sam's Club, Target, Wal*Fart, etc.) and pick up a portable room humidifier for around $30. Your nose will thank you for it.
By the way, are you planning on hitting any of the shooting ranges in OC?

No potatoes...there was also some garlic and vinegar in addition to the crabapples to mask the fishy taste.

Hmmm...shooting range in OC....will definitely go rent a car and find the shooting range after I come back from Seattle & Vancouver. BTW, Meia, any idea where there is a shooting school to train basic shooters in IPSC in a crash course kinda setting? I am thinking just one week full of shooting.

Ooohhh... Seattle. My favourite city in the US. Have you been there before? This might not be the best time of the year to visit, though.
As for IPSC training, almost any gun store or range will be able to point you to a good IPSC training course in the area. If you want to go all out and spend the time and money, take a look at www.FrontSight.com.
