i've always wondered why some games have to be so bloody complicated now?
these games were simple, fun as hell, and unreasonably addictive...
they had simple graphics, gameplay and you kept playing them...
and most of all, you didn't need no steeenkin PS3 or XBox360 to play them!

That is because ppl want better graphics and what not
They want things that can be customized with all the bells and whistles

in the end, most games require a crapload of hardware, looks damned good but plays like crap...
oh well.. i still like some of the classics.. like kopi, i share his fave which was Day of the Tentacle.. it was one of the funniest things and i laughed like mad when i played it.. it had unforgettable lines like:

I called the hotline ... they said it's due to some unknown technical difficulties ... I'm not the only one ... they'd have to get back to me after they've determined the cause .... -_-

I must say, really, that these sort of people are the product of our molly-coddled environment .... mercernary, totally selfish ....
but I suppose there are all sorts of people in every society ... in every conflict there are people who'd go down fighting, and there are people who'd go down on their knees to suck the invader's .....
sorry for being crude ... but this issue really gets me going ...
