I wonder in 4 yrs time M'sia gotta import petrol and e selling price is similar to S'pore, would they start crying or commit suicide?
thing is, they are making a loss with diesel prices now..
just like the fishermen in Spain.. they figure they'd rather just let their boats rot.. they lose less money, and they don't need to risk their lives in the open seas

They say of floating petrol prices yet they also thinking of floor price for petrol
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/12/14/nation/20081214194653&sec=nation
do those people in world class kampung Malaysia knows wat does free floating of products means?
But by price floor, they are essentially allowing the price to float as long as the price is above the floor...
But wait. Why would they want a price floor? Not price ceiling meh?
That aside, a price floor is useless if the price floats what.....unless they feel like writing their admin stuff again and again.
Oh wait....it's M'sia.![]()
if it's price ceiling, lots of items in M'sia kena tis
tat's why when barang barang goes ex, there would end up be shortage of consumer goods
some MCA kaki expressed unhappiness over tis system which has been used for 30 yrs saying it would rather be better if they'd followed Singapore on how to find ways to increase everyone's income as time goes by
"Last time RM1 = S$1, now RM1 = S$0.42"

x2. You should set a price floor above the expected market price. Otherwise, the market price will simply be met, and it will become useless.
Any pimply-faced JC student who got B for A Level Economics can tell you that.
Then again, their Queen's Counsel used information from a blog which was plagiarised from Wikipedia to try to win back Pedra Branca. So I guess it all figures.

Actually internationally, the following countries are usually cited as role models: Taiwan, M'sia, S'pore, S (Not N
) Korea.
When Mahathir called IMF evil, M'sia's standing went even higher....![]()

I'd rather have other things thrown at him..... like a statement to appear before Congress for an impeachment hearing.
I still find it extremely paradoxical that his predecessor almost got indicted for adultery, whereas Dubya gets away scot-free in spite of having started two irresponsible wars in the Middle East based on faulty intelligence.
And in the process he virtually bankrupted the country, ruined the world's economy and got thousands killed in those two wars.
A pair of flying shoes hardly seems enough punishment.

I won't really blame him for the economic debacle....I mean, the bubble will burst eventually. The blame should go at least some to Clinton who let the bubble grow, sadly because Greenspan thought his influence should tame the bubble, just to name a reason!
I won't really blame him for Sep 11 either.....
And under Bush, at least he made some improvements in relationship with China etc etc....and made worse US's image in other countries.
*burp*
