too many things has been happening and I didnt tell you all.
i made a embraressing boo boo recently.
We were all in the sports van heading home from a movie. The family, ie sis, bro in law, nephew & neice went for a movie. i went shopping in Walmart instead.
the neice has insisted I sit next to her and I pulled a stool and sat hunched down next to her or we might be fined by traffic police for me sitting there without a seat belt.
neice was yakking to me and here's what I heard...(over the noise of a video movie showing in the van for the kids benefit & the diesel engine.): Auntie Mickey, I speak to jesus today.
I was so totally stunned that I replied to her: You SPOKE to JESUS today???!!!
And I correct my grammer because I dont think kids understand the use of past tense: You SPEAK to JESUS today? did you enjoy the conversation?
and that cute kid nots her head in answer to my question.
My brother in law, me, sis was stunned for a while....then suddenly my brother in law tells me......"She said she went to Chucky cheese today! Not speak to Jesus!"
the family is buddhist.

Thinking of getting a couple of books from them.... I'd like to know how reliable the service is.

US pork to Singapore have changed drastically you knowThe reason why pork can stink is either the feed coz they feed them swill or coz they don't castrate the damn pigs.
I'm not sure about the local domestic pork in USA but the pigs may not be bred for export markets like Singapore
Anyway the pigs there are fed lots of paylean so :P

I can't stand those frozen pork that mommy sometimes get now ......
they have this weird taste, and I don't think it's freezer burns ....

Well, I ordered from amazon. thru USA & SG Borders bookshop. service is reliable, but the condition of the books might not be good, cos sometimes its second hand books. -
Wait is your bro's place up for the enbloc thingy (though can imagine that happening now)? Heard they sometimes do nasty things to residents' stuff.

well, I dont like it with people scratching cars. And its pretty rampant in Singapore, dunno why. or maybe because I attended too many police case on that issue. Most are neighbours doing it.
in public places like town, not so common, cos its more common to break thru a car window to steal.

Singaporeans are a crazy people.remember the families of the engineer who got buried in the nicol highway collapse and also that guy who killed himself by MRT getting harassed and even threatened by their immediate neighbours and other strangers for receiving lots of $$$ in donations?

If its two months ago, you best check with local manga shops, I like the comic shop at maybe 5th floor of Plaza Singapura.English translated manga, can check with borders & kinokuniya.
If you want, i can always take another long walk to Borders at Roncho Santa Magarita to see whether they have or they can send to to shop near me and I collect and post it to you.

Sigh, so true.Still not as bad with USA where some father can take his two year old child, drive to a deserted road and beat and kick the child to death.
A old couple driving by that road, saw what happened, stopped and ran to the scene, with the old man subduing the father and the old lady trying to wake that child and calling 911 at the same time.

I checked the local Borders and Kinokuniya - they don't sell it.
Will go check out the local manga shops.... but somehow I kinda doubt they have it.
