Only 20 min to go.... I am off to a Christmas party. It's a work Christmas party with the client tonight. Yay..... there will be plenty of food and drinks. Since I don't drink, it will be the food I am looking forward the most.....

Seriously, I don't know what to say about such people. If you're already homeless, jobless, and you've got young kids, surely you'd take the first job that comes your way. Surely having an honest job is much better than living off the welfare of others.
If only there was a way to help the kids without helping the parents. Because it seems to me that the parents don't want to be helped - and I say that it's a waste of time to help people who don't want to help themselves.

Talking about Xmas parties... the hubby's is this Friday at a BBQ place we've both been wanting to try since we first heard of the place. Tickets were $5 and we are both looking forward to digging into ribs. Nyum, nyum!

There was another bbq joint that we wanted to try. It's called Kansas City BBQ. The place burned down a few months ago. This was the same place where they filmed that scene from Top Gun. The piano was intact but sadly, everything that was irreplaceable was destroyed. Once they're back in action, I will make it a point to go visit.

Five different signatures were needed - mine, the technician who loaned me the device, my own lab technician, my lab supervisor, and my project supervisor!
WTF..... even signing out my rifle in the past was so much easier!
