It's definitely not a good situation in public hospitals that's why I think it's so wrong for the PM not to encourage people to have private health insurance. That just puts more pressure on the public health system. The current public health system is bad enough and people are put on a long waiting list to be operated on.
Missy is working on the private hospital so don't think it would be that bad but not perfect either.

I checked the date and scrutinised the paper for any signs that it was a gag article!

Didn't sleep very well last night.
Woke up 2 or 3 times in the middle of the night.
I was having all sorts of dreams.... I don't remember exactly what the dreams were, though.
Right now I'm boring myself to death trying to read some uber-dry journal article.....
I know.... I am pretty sure there are many other jobs out there better than being a sex worker. I think it's all about money....
Anyway, I am off for lunch... cya!

I don't think our brothels as nice as theirs leh.
got seperate buzzer in each room and even some sort of tracking bracelet for additional safety if they want!
plus the industry is already saturated with prc chickens ><

Anyway, do prostitutes in Singapore need a license to work? I know sex workers here do..
yes, prostitution is in fact legalised in singapore, and the licensed ones have to go for regular medical checkups.
but we have lots of illegal ones, esp the prcs

the PM don't encourage ppl to have private health insurance? what sort of crap is that?
Met my friend who was back from melbourne for a hol .. and he told me a sad news, that his dad passed away earlier in the year.. due to a human error in melbourne public hospital .. died of OD .. (his dad got a stroke and had a blood clot in his blood, so needed to take med to thin blood)
the hospital admitted that it was their fault, they can issue my friend with a letter of apology, but if they want monetary compensation, they have to sue.
You know what's best? The hospital told my friend that its useless, because the dad is worthless, as he can't move freely, he can't support his dependents, he is not independent..!!!!
the hospital saying that sue also cannot get damages cos he was a dependant?
no, as in.. don't waste their time to sue the hospital over a worthless person..
