  Just reached the lab.

  My laptop's safe and sound and is working fine - even after being left switched on continuously for the past 48 hours.

  Luckily my lab's air-conditioned, and the screen was set to go black after a while..... otherwise, I may have run the risk of frying its internals from overheating.

  last nite has a nice cosy dinner at 's sis plc with her in-laws...

  when his bro-in-law gave thanks for the dinner, he gave thanks tat me and baby faith are able to join them tis yr... i felt... ... strange... >.<

  Today is Friday plus it's the day after a public hol. Can't imagine there's much to do. You should be able to leave early.

  not everyone got flexible working hours like you ...

  if i'm back in the office today, even if i have nothing to do, i also can't leave early ..

  They left the air-conditioning on when no-one was around?  Is there some sensitive equipment or set-up that needs it?

  normally in labs, it's left on. simply because normally there are phd students and what not almost 24/7.

  + you have things that will generate heat like your computers and other equipment.

  Nah I don't have that much leeway! Actually my leave started on Monday but because we needed to send out a few letters plus a training I "just had to go for", I worked on Mon-Wed. Wokies, time to head out to jalan-jalan.

  My Christmas

  Morning:
  MPB came home and went to bed
  I played WoW and called my parents

  Afternoon:
  MPB woke up and his mum bugged him to go down to visit her. He also ordered feeder catfish and swordtails from our feeder supplier
  I went with him and we ended up at the aquarium near his place. He bought 2 convincts & 2 Jack Dempseys

  Evening:
  Came home to catch out the ugly Peacock Bass. I sold him on Wednesday for 20 bucks. Bloody fish is fast. Handed him over to his new owner. My feeders will last longer now!!!

  Found an Earth Eater with an infected eye so we did a water change -_-"

  Feeders delivered and I fed the fishes

  Was dead tired after and went to take a shower and sleep

  So much for X'mas

  Vegemite... in TUBES!!!

  and no.. this is not the "quirky gift"

  in addition to the vegemite, aussiemite, marmite and vegetarian bovril, here's the latest atrocity..

  maybe there are mites in them?
