If I head to 'boring' wind-down places like Malacca or Batam, I just wanna nap, slack, read books and/or mags, play on my Nintendo DS Lite, listen to the ocean waves, walk by the beach, and EAT!
Hmm... do you not eat when you're on vacation?! I don't see you mentioning eating!! Are you alright? Are you feeling unwell?!

I figured, what the hell... I lather on sunblock SPF30+ every morning religiously and I STILL get freckles so if I can't beat 'em, I join 'em!
Plus, at my healthiest best in my teens, I was a tanned swimmer. Time to stop hiding from the sun, perhaps?
Just as long as I put on sunblock when the sun is at its strongest and continue to Slip, Slap, Slop according to the Aussie Cancer Council's recommendations, then I should be fine.
That's good. During my holiday in Philip Island, I tried to stay in the sun whenever I had the opportunity. Of course it's not those sunbaking type... just sit there for a few minutes. Didn't even bother to put on sunscreen when I go walking. Think I have become very tanned after the break.
Anyway, remember to bring a hat with you for the blackberry picking this Sunday.

Erm... I hate how they look.
Also, I wonder if they stink? You know how some rubber slippers and all that, if you sweat a lot in your feet, they end up stinking to the high heavens? ![]()
I guess eventually, I'll adopt the croc, but only cause everyone else is wearing them and it makes sense in the clinical area. But it won't be because I like them per se.
BTW, I think crocs are too darn over-priced. I'm always price before fashion.

Of course I'm eating lah. That part is understood. So you'll likely only see me talk during mealtimes ![]()
The rest of the time I'll give monosyllabic replies or just grunt ![]()
Well, my bro in law helped transferred some movies for watching on my dvd.
The Dark Knights was good, the new batman costume really look dark and menancing.
Then there was Norton.....I was like errr......really boring.
Then there is also Mummys Tomb Raider. Watched before but the resolution my bro in law copied was really good.

crocs very airy .. dun think will stink?
Anyway, I think its worth it to buy, because they are really comfortable .. I got flat feet, so my feet ache if i walk too much .. but with crocs, they dun ache as much..

You kidding me? I never go out without a hat these days! I'd shrivel up and die!
It's crazy-hot now! It's also glaringly bright, it can hurt if you don't wear a pair of good sunglasses.
I'll probably bring my wide-brimmed hat along.
Well, erm...crocs is now on sale at crocs online at USA now.
Thats how I ended up with 7 pairs myself. Decent enough for use in summer climate places.
Its winter now in USA, so Uggs Australia is popular now.
I think crocs got some anti-bacterial properties ..... they don't stink .....
the worst offenders are merrell .....they give off a dead rat smell after a while ...
every single pair of my shoes from them stinks .....
Well, wearing crocs, my feet will still sweat.
But since they are easy to wash......its no big deal.

Really that comfortable? Orh...
I see that they have nice colours these days. They also have cutesy little buttons you can place through the holes for some kinda fashion statement. Interesting...
fudgie's crocs got badges and pins on them .... ![]()

how I wish the weather during the holiday was like this week so I could swim at the beach more often!! Only got to swim once... and hubby kept complaining the water was too cold.
hubby is not good with the heat either..... he suffers from heat rash. He got that all over his neck and hands last week.

I don't really know what to think of Uggs... I know the gossip and fashion mags are huge on them ever since some supermodels and actresses were photographed wearing them, but I just don't know...
Maybe, if I can get them on sale this year...

He's like me... I get heat rash very easily. But strangely, when I swam in the public pools back when I was a teen, I could swim up to five times a week and I had no problems with heat rash!
I looked chao tar and had short hair and went around in shorts and a tee then... so carefree... ![]()
I think missy can't wear crocs at work..... I remember reading the news few months ago that hospitals might ban crocs in certain wards of the hospitals because they generate too much static electricity. It might affect the patients.

Poor man... there was an article about that case in the latest issue of WHO magazine. The man actually told his wife before that he loves the sea and respects that they are the ones invading the natural habitat of the sea creatures so if he were to ever die from a shark attack, at least he died doing what he loved best.
Uggs? They're just as tacky as Crocs. ![]()

None of my colleagues wore crocs to work. Only the Operating Theatre staff did. If I worked in the OT, I would too cause it made sense... you can 'sterilise' your shoes if you needed to.

the beach i go to is more like a channel and it's quite sheltered so reasonably safe. I went fishing a few times. Only caught a whiting. Sigh...

That's why they are called "Ugh!!"s! ![]()
I just always feel that Uggs should be worn where there is snow. It doesn't snow here where I am, so unless I head up to Mt Buller, I wouldn't go around wearing Uggs. The sweat produced will STINK, especially since Uggs are all woolen inside! ![]()

I read in some article before that if a shark attacks you, hit its nose as hard as you can and it should flee.
Trouble is, what if the shark bit your good arm? ![]()

whitings have small mouths ... so you must have been using a small hook ....
should have tried using that whiting as bait ....
big baits catch big fish .... ![]()
