just a general bad day ... excerbated by a nightmare I had last night ....
someone I care for was screaming at me to shut up and F off in public ......
and the dream seems to be almost eerily prescient in real life ....... >.<
not quite the screaming bit ..... but it hurts just the same ... ![]()

*pat pat*
I know the feeling.
Aaaahhh... so satisfying! I didn't go out today. It was very hot so I stayed home with the fan on and decided to cook chicken curry and since I didn't have baguette, I used the Bread Top's Japanese white bread to dip into it. Two chicken drumsticks, two baby potatoes, and bread... yummy!! ![]()

Simply because I bought the chicken drumsticks for the curry a few days ago and they expire on the 22nd and ... I haven't eaten curry for quite a long time and it's easy to cook... so... ![]()
I'll go drink a lot of tau huay chwee and then Ice Ribena to quench the fire in my tummy. I think like that should be ok innit? ![]()
Hmmm...reminded me of the mee rebus i had this morn.
Sis managed to buy some prima deli paste from USA and they delivered. And sis made mee rebus with chinese pulled noodles and topped with a hard boiled egg for me.
The mee rebus sauce not bad really has mee rebus flavour, but we are seriously missing the tau geh, cubed crispy tau pok & green chillis.
Well, studies did suggest that hot weather eat curry, helps you to sweat and increase your metobolism.
So Rhonda planning her evening brisk walking yet?

Today, no walk, cause tomorrow, have to walk for more than an hour to get to and from this place I have to head to to return my CPAP.
Walk from home to hospital, 30 mins. Walk from hospital to Victoria Street, about 20 mins, then grocery shopping, then maybe stop for some Bubble Tea, then walk back another 15 mins. Altogether will be on my feet for almost two hours or more. ![]()

Ah ha! I remember that Prima has a Mee Rebus pack but I couldn't find it in the shop I went to in Boxhill, so I thought maybe they don't have it.
I've cooked Mee Siam from scratch, but decided to try their pack cause if it's nice too, then not worth the trouble doing it from scratch, unless I'm cooking for not just myself.
I was thinking of buying frozen Prata tomorrow to go with the curry. Maybe get a few cubes of mutton into the curry so it'll be mutton curry with prata tomorrow. ![]()
Poor thing... we have tau geh here in abundance. We have different types of beancurd as well, including tau pok. We also have green chilli, red chilli, and chilli padi here. Hell, we even have fresh skin popiah here, as I recently discovered on Sunday!
All I need is Bee Chun Hiang and Old Chang Kee and Crystal Jade here, and I'm all settled for good! ![]()
Well, I had angmoh chilli soup in a bread bowl today.
And walked thru the most Roncho Magarita's town centres. So I roughly clocked 2km, including walking home.
I didnt realise my feet was that sore till I got home and kicked off my shoes. Was on the feet the whole afternoon! We went to Magarita roughly at 1pm, I walked home starting 7pm and got home roughly 8+pm.

Apparently the cumin in curries is good for prostate health. Since you are so fixated on all things pertaining to the anterior and posterior groin region, thought you might want to know. ![]()
Rhonda, try doing a search online.
Sis found the Prima Deli ships International nowdays.
I think that Fatum should just find a wife so that he can be obessed with the health of his tadpoles because right now they are just going bad in the errr 'container'

Yeah, we end up walking a lot overseas! I've never walked so much in my life, until I came here! It's really pleasant walking here in the non-Summer months though. I kena a bad case of heat rash now because I've walked too much under the hot sun, with and without sunscreen. ![]()
Sometimes, after work, I can walk around for 55-90 mins and won't even realise it! Lots of old buildings around, the architecture is so interesting. And then there are the newer houses I oogle at. And there will always be parks and interesting gardens to admire. Unlike in Singapore where it's too humid and you bump into people or people bump into you and then you get all angry and flustered for being pushed about.
And there are too many people! It's not fun walking when you're dodging all the time! ![]()
Here, I can walk for ages without having to dodge! And there are always the dogs being walked.
Very few dogs have behavioural problems here. I think dogs do better when their owners spend time with them and they have wide open spaces to run about and play with other doggies. ![]()
I was watching The Dog Whisperer when I saw Caesar Milan teaching a couple to walk their dog and get the cat involved by pushing a cat carrier!
I think I'll buy one when I own a cat or two. Bring the cats out in a wheeled cat carrier! ![]()

No need. Prima Deli packs are available in a lot of Asian grocery shops here. Melbourne City, Boxhill, Glen Waverly, etc.
We even have the CNY snacks from Singapore and Malaysia imported here! ![]()

You folks in Oz is sooooo lucky!
Tomorrow, for lunch / dinner, it's gonna be Prata with Curry.
Then the next day, it'll be Moroccan and Citrus Lamb Steak with Roasted Summer Vegetables. ![]()
The day after... hmm... possibly Mee Siam?
Cook everyday of the week, but will allow myself to eat out once a week. ![]()
