Ok, you put cream, flavours and milk into the inside metal container. Load the outside of the container with ice and salt. Close the lids.Roll the ball on the carpet or bed for 20 minutes or so.
Think there was a review on target dot com about how the girls and kids just take turns rolling it on the bed during a sleep over, on the grass on a picnic and at the office on carpet floors.
Its more a fun factor then actually producing large amount of ice cream.

probably a good thing to get. since i have to share the tiny freezer with 2 other people (one of whom loves to eat ready-to-eat stuff)...
and i can do with ice cream every day!!
